The Assembler and Material Handler and Receiving Clerk will report directly to our Director, Operations, Facilities and Production Management and in this position will work closely with the shipping/receiving staff as well as the production managers to meet shipping demands.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include but are not limited to (other duties may be assigned):

• Assist in stocking of shipping products and supplies
• Match blanket orders to assembly travelers
• Process outside service forms
• Create and print shipping labels as needed
• Resolve Shipping issues as required with the appropriate personnel
• Oversee the reorder of shipping supplies to ensure adequate supply
• Maintain a positive attitude while working in a fast paced environment
• Shipping domestic and international shipments Qualifications:
• Worked in a manufacturing environment with forklifts.
• Ability to properly lift up to 50 lbs
• Able to work overtime and cover other shifts as needed
• Willing to accept additional duties and cross train in the manufacturing environment
• Good communication skills
· Must be able to stand on concrete floors for extended periods of time.
· Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. frequently.
· Must be able to ascend and descend stepladders.
· Must be able to push or pull up to 900 pounds or equivalency utilizing a manual cart.
· Must be able to stoop, squat, and bend.
· Must be able to frequently reach laterally, and overhead occasionally.

· Must be able to frequently grasp objects.
· Must possess sufficient visual and audio acuity to work safely and accurately in an industrial environment.
· Must be able to work a minimum of 40 hours per week.

Experience:

• Two years experience working in a shipping/receiving environment
• Computer skills required
• Experience in shipping FedEx/UPS system
• This position requires working experience with forklifts that are both standing and sitting.
