Job Description:
Seeking an organized and collaborative Arts Program Assistant to support the coordination and delivery of our arts education programs. This role combines administrative responsibilities with in-field support at partner schools.
This is a hybrid position with minimal in-office time. Most hours will be spent traveling to school sites. Schedule varies based on program needs. Reliable transportation is required.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support scheduling, meetings, and program coordination
- Prepare and organize curriculum materials and teacher kits
- Maintain program records and documentation
- Conduct site visits at partner schools
- Support supervision and ongoing feedback for Teaching Artists
- Serve as a substitute Teaching Artist when needed
- Provide in-classroom and hands-on program support
Qualifications:
- Minimum 2 years of teaching experience (school-day or after-school)
- Background in musical theater, theater, or technical theater
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Ability to work independently across multiple sites
- Reliable transportation and willingness to travel regularly
Preferred:
- Experience supporting multi-site arts education programs and balancing administrative and in-field responsibilities
