A well-established modular home manufacturer in Corona, CA is seeking an Architectural Drafter to join its onsite drafting team. This temp-to-hire opportunity is ideal for a detail-oriented Drafter with AutoCAD experience who enjoys turning design concepts, rough sketches, and instructions into accurate construction drawings used in a production environment. Required Qualifications and Skills

The Architectural Drafter will work closely with designers and other drafting professionals to support residential and commercial modular construction projects in a fast-paced, deadline-driven setting.
Key Responsibilities
- Create and modify construction drawings from rough sketches, verbal instructions, and designer drawings for use on a factory assembly line.
- Coordinate drawings with other Drafters to support timely project completion and maintain consistency across shared projects.
- Follow current CAD standards during drawing development and bill of material preparation.
- Interpret written and verbal instructions to produce accurate, complete, and legible drafting documents.
- Manage shifting project priorities while meeting production timelines and quality expectations.
- Perform additional drafting and project support duties as assigned.
Compensation and Benefits
- Pay range: $22.00 to $30.00 per hour, depending on experience.
- Job type: Temp-to-hire.
- Schedule: Monday through Friday, 7:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
- Work location: Onsite in Corona, CA.

- Draft construction drawings for modular residential and commercial construction projects.
- Modify and update CAD drawings based on rough sketches, verbal direction, and designer input.
- Coordinate drafting work with team members to support shared project timelines.
- Support drawing accuracy, CAD standards, and bill of material development.
- 1 or more years of recent experience working as an Architectural Drafter required.
- Proficiency with AutoCAD and AutoCAD Architecture required.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite required.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent mechanical aptitude and attention to detail.
- Solid math skills, including understanding of geometry and trigonometry.
- Ability to take drafting projects from concept through completion.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Self-starter with a strong work ethic and ability to work with limited supervision.
- Ability to multitask and adapt to changing priorities in a deadline-oriented environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- CAD certificate from a trade school or equivalent training.
- Experience drafting for residential, commercial, modular, manufactured housing, or construction-related projects.
- Familiarity with factory production, assembly line, or construction documentation workflows.
- Prior experience working in a collaborative drafting or design team environment.
