We are seeking a skilled **Banking Applications Analyst** to support and maintain the core and ancillary banking systems that power our daily operations.
Position Summary
This role is responsible for providing technical and functional support for multiple banking applications, ensuring reliability, security, and alignment with banking regulations and business needs. The ideal candidate combines strong technical aptitude with an understanding of community bank operations and a service-oriented mindset.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide day-to-day **technical support** for core banking and related banking platforms
* Monitor applications to ensure system availability, performance, and data integrity
* Troubleshoot and resolve application issues; manage vendor support cases and escalations
* Collaborate with operations, lending, deposit, and compliance teams to support business processes
* Assist with system upgrades, patches, testing, and new feature rollouts
* Support regulatory, audit, and examination requests related to banking systems
* Maintain system documentation, procedures, and support workflows
* Participate in scheduled after-hours support or on-call rotations as needed
Required Qualifications
* **3–5 years of hands-on experience** supporting banking or financial services applications
* Working knowledge of **community bank operations** (deposits, lending, payments, reporting)
* Experience supporting core banking systems or mission-critical financial platforms
* Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot application and integration issues
* Strong communication skills with the ability to translate technical concepts for business users
Preferred Qualifications
* Experience with **Jack Henry (John Henry) Banking Software** (e.g., core, digital, or ancillary platforms)
* Exposure to vendor-hosted banking systems and third-party integrations
* Basic familiarity with SQL, reporting tools, or system configuration
* Experience supporting banking audits, exams, or compliance inquiries
