Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated Agricultural Intern for a contract or temporary opportunity in Guanica, PR. This role is ideal for a recent graduate who wants hands-on experience in agricultural production, field operations, crop monitoring, and sustainable farming practices.
As an Agricultural Intern, you will support day-to-day field activities, assist with data collection, and contribute to projects that help improve production efficiency and sustainability. This opportunity offers valuable exposure to real agricultural operations, supportive teamwork, practical training, and the chance to build foundational experience in agronomy, agriculture, biology, or a related field.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with field activities including planting, crop monitoring, harvesting, and general agricultural production support.
- Record, organize, and analyze data related to crop growth, crop conditions, yield, and field observations.
- Support sustainable agricultural practices and follow established field procedures and best practices.
- Help track, organize, and manage agricultural input inventory and related supplies.
- Prepare basic technical, operational, and field activity reports for review.
- Follow all safety guidelines, environmental practices, and agricultural work standards.
Compensation and Benefits
- Pay: $14.00 per hour.
- Job Type: Contract/Temporary.
- Schedule: Part-time or full-time, 32 to 40 hours per week.
- Workdays: Monday to Friday.
- Shift start time: 7:00 AM.

Required Qualifications and Skills
- Recently completed a Bachelor's degree in Agronomy, Agriculture, Biology, or a related field.
- Interest in agricultural production and hands-on fieldwork.
- Basic data analysis, documentation, and recordkeeping skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to follow safety guidelines, field procedures, and agricultural best practices.
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior internship, academic project, volunteer work, or field experience related to agriculture, agronomy, biology, crop production, or sustainability.
- Familiarity with crop monitoring, agricultural inputs, or technical field reporting.
- Interest in developing a career in agricultural production, sustainable agriculture, or scientific and technical field operations.
