Schedule: Full-time

Job Summary:
We are seeking an Aerospace Quality Assurance (QA) professional to ensure aerospace products, processes, and systems meet strict safety, reliability, and regulatory standards such as AS9100. This role is responsible for inspections, audits, documentation, root cause analysis, and continuous improvement efforts. The ideal candidate will have strong technical aptitude, experience with aerospace quality standards, and the ability to collaborate across teams to prevent defects and maintain Quality Management Systems (QMS).

Key Responsibilities:
Inspection and Testing
• Perform detailed inspections of parts, assemblies, and processes
• Utilize tools such as CMM, visual inspection methods, and non-destructive testing

Auditing
• Conduct internal and supplier audits
• Verify compliance with AS9100, ISO standards, and internal procedures

Documentation
• Create and maintain quality records and reports
• Generate and manage non-conformance reports (NCRs)

Problem Solving
• Lead root cause analysis (RCA)
• Implement corrective and preventative actions (CAPA)

Process Improvement
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives such as Lean and Six Sigma
• Improve quality, efficiency, and consistency

Compliance
• Ensure adherence to customer, company, and regulatory requirements including FAA and DoD

Collaboration
• Work cross-functionally with Engineering, Production, and Supply Chain teams

Essential Skills and Qualifications:
Education
• Degree in Engineering or related field preferred
• High School Diploma with extensive relevant experience acceptable

Experience
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in aerospace QA, manufacturing, or related technical role
• Experience with CMM, calibration, or similar quality tools preferred

Technical Skills
• Blueprint and GD&T interpretation
• CMM operation
• ERP systems
• Non-destructive testing (NDT)
• APQP and PPAP
• AS9100 and ISO standards

Soft Skills
• Strong attention to detail
• Analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Clear written and verbal communication
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment
