We are seeking an experienced Aerospace Machining Supervisor for a direct hire opportunity in Fountain Valley, CA. The Aerospace Machining Supervisor will oversee daily machining operations, support production schedules, improve workflow, and ensure parts are manufactured to strict aerospace specifications. Key Responsibilities
- Supervise daily machining department operations to ensure production schedules, quality standards, and delivery targets are met.
- Lead, coach, and develop machinists and machine operators to improve performance, productivity, and team capability.
- Coordinate workload, staffing, equipment, and resources to support changing production priorities.
- Monitor CNC and manual machining processes to ensure compliance with blueprints, engineering specifications, GD&T, and work instructions.
- Partner with Engineering, Quality, and Operations teams to resolve manufacturing issues and improve efficiency.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on safety, quality, throughput, equipment care, and waste reduction.
Compensation and Benefits
- Salary range: $95,000 to $120,000 per year.

Required Qualifications and Skills
- Supervise machining operations in a precision aerospace manufacturing environment.
- Lead machining teams to meet production, quality, safety, and delivery goals.
- Support process improvement, troubleshooting, and cross-functional manufacturing initiatives.
- Monitor machining work to ensure compliance with blueprints, GD&T, engineering specifications, and work instructions.
- 5+ years of aerospace machining experience in a precision manufacturing environment.
- Previous experience supervising, managing, or leading machinists or machine operators.
- Strong knowledge of CNC machining operations, tooling, fixtures, and manufacturing processes.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, work instructions, and GD&T requirements.
- Experience using precision measuring equipment, including micrometers, calipers, and gauges.
- Proven ability to improve productivity, quality, workflow, and employee performance.
- Strong leadership, communication, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven production environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with HAAS, Fadal, or similar CNC controls.
- Aerospace components, tooling, or composite manufacturing experience.
- Lean Manufacturing, 5S, or Continuous Improvement experience.
- Technical machining certifications or vocational training.
