Job Summary

A growing aerospace and defense manufacturing environment in Sylmar, CA is seeking an Aerospace - CNC Lathe Machinist for a temp-to-hire opportunity. This role is ideal for an experienced CNC lathe professional who takes pride in producing precision components, working to tight tolerances, and supporting high-quality aerospace production.

The CNC Lathe Machinist will work in a team-oriented production setting with experienced leadership, clear expectations, and opportunities to demonstrate strong machining capability. Key Responsibilities

- Set up and operate CNC lathes to machine precision aerospace components according to specifications.
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, work instructions, and manufacturing documentation.
- Perform tool changes, offsets, and basic machine adjustments to maintain quality and efficiency.
- Inspect finished parts using precision measuring tools to verify dimensional accuracy and tolerance requirements.
- Monitor machine performance, identify issues, and communicate production or quality concerns.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area while following shop procedures and quality standards.

Compensation and Benefits

- Pay rate: $25.00 to $35.00 per hour.
- Job type: Temp-to-hire.
- Location: Sylmar, CA.
