Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Aerospace Assembler – Soldering for a 1st shift contract opportunity in Sylmar, CA. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented assembly professional with hands-on experience in aerospace component assembly, wiring, crimping, and precision soldering.

In this position, you will support the production of aerospace components and subassemblies by following detailed blueprints, work instructions, and quality standards. The work environment is structured, quality-focused, and team-oriented, with an emphasis on safety, workmanship, and consistent production accuracy. Key Responsibilities

- Perform mechanical and electrical assembly of aerospace components and subassemblies.
- Complete hand soldering of wires, terminals, connectors, and electronic components.
- Read and follow blueprints, drawings, schematics, and work instructions.
- Assemble, crimp, wire, connect, and inspect aerospace parts and components.
- Use hand tools, power tools, and precision measuring equipment to complete assigned work.
- Maintain accurate production documentation while following safety, workmanship, and aerospace quality procedures.

Compensation and Benefits

- Pay rate: $23.00 to $30.00 per hour.
- Job type: Contract/Temporary.
- Schedule: 1st shift.
- Location: Sylmar, CA.



Required Qualifications and Skills

- Perform precision aerospace assembly of mechanical and electrical components.
- Complete hand soldering on wires, terminals, connectors, and electronic components.
- Follow blueprints, drawings, work instructions, and production documentation requirements.
- Inspect completed assemblies to verify workmanship and quality standards.

- 3 to 5 years of relevant manufacturing, production, or aerospace assembly experience.
- Previous experience with soldering in an assembly or production environment.
- Ability to use hand tools, power tools, crimpers, and precision measuring equipment.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and work instructions.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
- Ability to follow aerospace quality standards, safety procedures, and production requirements.
- Reliable, team-oriented, and able to work effectively in a structured manufacturing environment.

Preferred Qualifications

- Previous aerospace assembly experience.
- IPC or J-STD soldering certification.
- Experience assembling, wiring, crimping, and connecting aerospace components.
- Experience performing visual inspections in a regulated manufacturing environment.
