Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Aerospace Assembler/Solderer for a temp-to-hire opportunity in Sylmar, CA. This role is ideal for a hands-on manufacturing professional with strong soldering, assembly, blueprint reading, and quality verification skills in a precision production environment.

The Aerospace Assembler/Solderer will work within a components assembly area, building connectors and related products according to specifications, drawings, schematics, and standard work instructions. Key Responsibilities

- Assemble connectors and component parts according to blueprints, schematics, specifications, and standard work instructions.
- Set up and operate wire marking machines, verify marking accuracy, and confirm product quality.
- Position, fasten, screw, bolt, solder, or weld parts into place to complete assemblies.
- Verify correct assembly of final units and inspect work to ensure compliance with drawings and production standards.
- Test completed units using related test fixtures and confirm proper function.
- Support production team needs and assist in other manufacturing areas as required.

Compensation and Benefits

- Pay range: $24.00 to $30.00 per hour.
- Employment type: Temp-to-hire.

Required Qualifications and Skills

- Assemble aerospace connectors and component products according to blueprints and work instructions.
- Perform soldering or welding of parts based on schematics and assembly requirements.
- Operate wire marking equipment and verify product quality.
- Inspect and test completed assemblies using final blueprints and related test fixtures.

- 3 to 5 years of relevant manufacturing, production, assembly, or component assembly experience.
- Previous experience in a manufacturing or assembly role.
- Soldering or welding experience required.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and standard work instructions.
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Strong finger dexterity and hand-eye coordination.
- Ability to verify unit function according to final blueprints and quality requirements.
- Effective communication skills in English, including the ability to read, speak, and understand English.
- Detail-oriented approach with the ability to follow precise assembly processes in a production environment.

Preferred Qualifications

- Experience in aerospace, defense, electronics, connector assembly, or other precision manufacturing environments.
- Experience using test fixtures to verify completed assemblies.
- Experience operating wire marking machines.
- Familiarity with quality-focused production standards and detailed assembly documentation.
