An established company in Charleston, SC is seeking an Administrative Coordinator with operations accounting experience to support accurate financial data flow, payment processing, account reconciliation, and client service. Key Responsibilities
- Reconcile financial and operational data, identify discrepancies, and research account or payment issues through resolution.
- Accurately apply payments, update account information, and maintain organized financial records.
- Respond to inbound client calls regarding invoices, payments, balances, and account questions.
- Make outbound calls to gather information, resolve outstanding issues, and follow up on account matters.
- Use Excel and internal systems to review, compare, track, and maintain accurate data.
- Meet established productivity standards while maintaining accuracy and professional service.
Compensation and Benefits
- Pay: $24 to $27 per hour.
- Job Type: Temp-to-Hire.
- Schedule: Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
- Work Arrangement: On-site in Charleston, SC.
- Overtime: May be required as needed to meet deadlines.
- Reconcile financial, operational, payment, invoice, and account data.
- Research and resolve discrepancies related to payments, invoices, balances, and client accounts.
- Provide professional customer service by phone for financial and account-related questions.
- Maintain accurate records using Excel and other computer systems.
- 3 to 5 years of relevant administrative, accounting support, financial services, banking, or customer service experience.
- Strong Microsoft Excel and general computer skills.
- Comfortable working with financial information, account data, and sensitive client funds.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to identify inconsistencies and follow issues through to completion.
- Professional communication skills with the ability to handle challenging or upset customers.
- Strong problem-solving, research, and follow-up skills.
- Dependable, organized, and able to meet deadlines, quotas, and productivity expectations.
- Ability to work independently while contributing to a team-oriented environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in accounting support, banking, financial services, accounts receivable, payment processing, or account reconciliation.
- Experience using accounting, billing, payment, or customer account management systems.
- Prior experience in a role requiring high-volume phone communication and financial issue resolution.
