A professional insurance office in the Bossier City, LA area is seeking a dependable Administrative Clerk to support daily administrative operations. This temp-to-hire Administrative Clerk opportunity is ideal for someone with 1 to 2 years of administrative or clerical experience who enjoys staying organized, supporting a busy office, and providing excellent service to clients, vendors, and internal team members.
This role offers a steady Monday through Friday schedule, no weekends, and the opportunity to grow into a long-term position. Key Responsibilities
- Provide general administrative and clerical support to help daily office operations run efficiently.
- Answer phones, respond to inquiries, route calls, and communicate professionally with clients, vendors, and team members.
- Schedule meetings, manage calendars, prepare meeting materials, and assist with office coordination.
- Draft, edit, proofread, file, and maintain documents, reports, correspondence, and records.
- Perform accurate data entry and assist with billing, expense tracking, and light bookkeeping tasks.
- Manage incoming and outgoing mail, emails, office supplies, and special administrative projects as assigned.
Compensation and Benefits
- Pay: $13.00 to $14.00 per hour.
- Schedule: Full-time, Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
- Job Type: Temp-to-hire.
- No weekends.
- Location: Bossier City, LA and the Shreveport/Bossier City area.

- Accurate data entry skills with strong attention to detail.
- Ability to draft, proofread, organize, and maintain office documents and records.
- Basic computer skills, including email, calendar management, and common office software.
- Reliable, organized, and able to manage multiple tasks in a busy office environment.
- Positive attitude, team-oriented mindset, and commitment to excellent service.
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior experience in an insurance office, professional services office, or customer-facing administrative role.
- Experience assisting with billing, expense tracking, light bookkeeping, or basic accounting support.
- Familiarity with maintaining confidential client records and handling sensitive office information professionally.
