We are partnering with a well-established construction company to help them fill a key Accounts Payable / Administrative Assistant role while a team member is out on leave. Might turn into full hire, if the person on leave does not come back. This is a full-time, onsite opportunity offering a supportive environment, business casual dress code, and plenty of parking. The ideal candidate is professional, friendly, and eager to learn!
Key Responsibilities
Answer incoming calls, take accurate messages, and direct calls as needed
Open, date-stamp, and distribute incoming mail, including invoices
Match invoices to purchase orders and route for approval
Enter approved invoices into the system (Sage 300 experience is a huge plus)
Provide general administrative support to the accounting and front office team
Draft professional, well-written emails and correspondence

Qualifications
Strong administrative experience; A/P experience is a plus but not required, client is happy to train!
Friendly and professional demeanor with excellent communication skills
Comfortable being the face of the front desk
Self-starter who takes direction well and works effectively with minimal supervision
Team player with a positive attitude and willingness to learn
Strong attention to detail and basic email writing skills are essential
