This Administrative Assistant Position Features:
• Part Time opportunity of 100% on-site for 20 hours, Monday to Friday, for someone who wants part-time for years to come.

• Great Pay to $23 to $24, depending on experience.

Seeking a part time admin assistant for their supportive services/care management team. This will be 20 hours a week on a temporary to hire basis. The position will stay part time for the foreseeable future. Hours are Part-time position. 20 hours per week. but have a little bit of flexibility if someone needed say 9am-1pm or 9:30AM - 1:30PM.
Must have excellent communication skills, excellent customer service skills, be a true team player and willing to assist with the general needs of the team. Must be flexible, a quick learner, patient.

Responsibilities: Answering phones for the department, mailings, data entry, uploading files electronically, some paper filing, running reports. Will also be following up on any community calls that have been made to call them back to answer questions about programs etc.
Must have prior admin experience, be strong in MS Word and Excel and Outlook. When perm they must have the ability to drive to occasional community events (may be on a weekend but would be on a rare occasion)

Client is an independent non-profit organization serving as the Aging in the South Bay for various needs such as providing resources for elder care.

Position Summary: the Administrative Assistant provides administrative and operational support to the client's program. This is a part-time (20 hours/week) position.

Duties/Responsibilities
* Professionally answer phones, respond to questions, and transfer calls
* Handle mail, faxes, and mailings
* Scan and upload documents to the electronic health records
* Maintain an organized office environment
* Conduct the initial intake/screen on applicants
* Provide appropriate program information to applicants
* Maintain organized records and filing systems
* Assist with data entry
* Prepare reports and summaries
* All other reasonably related duties as assigned

Qualifications
* Effective verbal and written communication skills
* Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
* Previous experience as an administrative assistant or similar role
* Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, and Outlook)
* Highly organized. Ability to multitask and prioritize work effectively
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
* Ability to establish and maintain productive and collaborative working relationships
* Familiarity with customer services practices
* Ability to handle confidential information responsibly

Fingerprint background clearance required upon start and then DMV check before being hired by client.

Additional Skills

Previous experience of 4 to 5 years as an administrative assistant or similar role. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, and Outlook), type at least 45wpm. Part-time position. 20 hours per week, 9:30am-1:30pm, or 9am-1pm, Monday to Friday.
