Long-Term Contract | $16–$18/hr (depending on experience)
Monday–Friday, Full Time
We are a recruiting and staffing agency assisting our client, a state government department, in seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Administrative Assistant for a long-term contract position in Charleston, SC. This role offers a stable opportunity to support a professional team within a respected state agency.
Responsibilities:
Provide administrative support including data entry, document preparation, and file management
Answer phones, route calls, and assist visitors in a courteous and professional manner
Schedule meetings and maintain calendars for departmental staff
Process mail, correspondence, and reports accurately and efficiently
Assist with tracking and organizing departmental projects and records
Maintain confidentiality and adhere to agency policies and procedures
Qualifications:
Minimum of 3 years of administrative or office support experience
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
Excellent communication and organizational skills
Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask
Professional demeanor and strong customer service orientation
