Our client is currently looking for a strong Technical Customer Service Representative at a growing laser service house handling a wide range of laser precision cutting projects on various materials.
Familiarity and experience in the manufacturing of printed circuit boards is a big plus!!!
This is a full- time position, Monday-Friday 8:00am-5:00 pm.
$23-$24 DOE
temp to hire, once perm with great benefits which includes an incentive bonus plan once hired on!
Responsibilities:
Generate quotes from customer drawings, and timelines for clients as requested, will need to use a CAD program
Interact with clients on the phone, Internet, and occasionally face-to-face in a professional manner Continually expand your knowledge of our business in order to accurately answer questions and address client concerns
Log all contacts in our customer database system accurately Maintain accurate and up to date client files
Suggest additional products and services of use to clients Investigate and pursue client leads, expanding our client base Conduct basic administrative tasks
Generate monthly, quarterly, and annual reports for management when needed
Proactively seek solutions to problems, notifying Management when concerns arise in quality Work well with team members and skilled with multitasking
Qualifications:
Excellent computer skills, including Microsoft Office and databases, CAD a plus High school diploma or equivalent required, 2-4-year college degree preferred Minimum 3 years customer service experience working with a technical product line Must pay attention to ?ne detail.
Significant work experience in quoting / sales is a plus
Familiarity with inch and metric units of measure, be able to convert
Good communication skills, both written and verbal Outstanding phone and email etiquette
Innovative thinker with a positive attitude
Able to remain calm and professional, even with challenging clients Able to manage multiple accounts simultaneously
Keen attention to detail and excellent memory, making clients feel known
Ability to learn about our changing product line and articulate specifications readily Team-player mentality
Able to thrive in a fast-paced, high-volume work environment

Familiarity with office equipment and multi-line phone systems WordPress / website skill a plus
