We're currently seeking a detail-oriented, organized, and proactive Administrative Assistant to support our team in day-to-day operations and ensure smooth, efficient office management.
Job Summary:
The Administrative Assistant will play a key role in supporting our team with clerical, customer service, and organizational tasks. The ideal candidate will have experience in an insurance office or similar professional environment, and will thrive in a fast-paced setting while maintaining a high level of accuracy and professionalism.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide administrative support to insurance agents, account managers, and office leadership
Handle incoming calls, emails, and client correspondence professionally and promptly
Process and organize insurance applications, renewals, certificates, and claims documents
Schedule client meetings and maintain calendars for team members
Manage office files, both electronic and physical, ensuring accuracy and compliance
Assist with data entry, document preparation, and internal reporting
Coordinate with insurance carriers, clients, and internal departments
Support team with special projects and client follow-ups as needed
Qualifications:
Prior experience in administrative or office support roles (insurance industry experience highly preferred)
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
Ability to work independently and within a team
Knowledge of insurance terminology and processes is a plus
High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate’s degree or higher preferred
