Job Title: Administrative Assistant
Location: Charleston, SC (West Ashley)
Pay: $15–$18.50/hour
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM (37.5 hours/week)
Are you a dependable and detail-oriented administrative professional looking for your next long-term opportunity? We’re seeking a Administrative Assistant to support a busy office with a wide range of administrative, customer service, and operational tasks.
What You'll Do:
-Serve as the front-line customer service provider—greeting visitors, answering phones, and offering program information
-Enter referrals into the Aware case management system and notify counselors for timely follow-up
-Provide case services support by scheduling appointments, handling correspondence, and maintaining records
-Assist with budget monitoring and invoice processing in coordination with finance staff
-Ensure procurement and payment processes meet compliance standards
-Support maintenance of office assets and uphold safety and security procedures
-Coordinate with IT and facilities to ensure smooth technology and infrastructure operations
-Perform other administrative duties as assigned
What We’re Looking For:
-Reliable and professional with strong organizational skills
-Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
-Strong verbal and written communication skills
-Able to follow detailed instructions and manage sensitive data with discretion
-Team player with a positive, can-do attitude
-Prior experience processing invoices is a plus, but not required
