We are currently seeking a detail-oriented and professional Administrative Assistant to join our team in Bakersfield, CA. This is a full-time, onsite position with a schedule of Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in supporting daily office operations and ensuring administrative processes run smoothly. This role requires a high level of organization, discretion, and professionalism.
In this position, you will be responsible for answering and directing incoming calls, greeting and assisting visitors, and managing both physical and electronic documents and correspondence. You will coordinate meetings, maintain calendars, and handle scheduling tasks, as well as manage incoming and outgoing mail and email communications. Additional responsibilities include supporting data entry, maintaining databases, monitoring office supplies, and ensuring inventory is well-stocked. A commitment to confidentiality and adherence to departmental policies is essential.
Candidates should have at least three years of experience in an administrative support role, along with strong written and verbal communication skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite—including Word, Excel, and Outlook—is required, as is familiarity with general office equipment. A professional demeanor and strong interpersonal skills are important for success in this role. Bilingual fluency in English and Spanish is a plus.
