Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and dependable Admin Assistant for a temp-to-hire opportunity in Sylmar, CA within a fast-paced aerospace and defense environment. Key Responsibilities

- Provide daily administrative support to managers, engineers, operations personnel, and other team members.
- Coordinate calendars, meetings, conference rooms, travel arrangements, training sessions, and internal events.
- Prepare, organize, maintain, and update documents, reports, correspondence, presentations, and records.
- Assist with purchase orders, invoices, expense reports, onboarding paperwork, vendor coordination, and administrative transactions.
- Maintain accurate electronic and physical records while supporting safety, quality, compliance, and company documentation requirements.
- Handle confidential information professionally and help improve administrative processes and office efficiency.

Compensation and Benefits

- Pay: $25.00 to $28.00 per hour.
- Job Type: Temp-to-Hire.
- Location: Sylmar, CA.



Required Qualifications and Skills

- Support day-to-day administrative operations in a fast-paced aerospace, manufacturing, engineering, or office environment.
- Coordinate schedules, meetings, documentation, records, purchasing support, and internal communications.
- Maintain accurate data, files, spreadsheets, and sensitive company documentation.
- Collaborate with leadership, operations, HR, vendors, visitors, and cross-functional teams.

- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- 3 to 5 years of administrative, office coordination, or related experience preferred.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and Teams.
- Strong organizational, time-management, data-entry, and follow-up skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail, accuracy, confidentiality, and professionalism.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with internal teams.

Preferred Qualifications

- Associate or bachelor's degree preferred.
- Experience supporting aerospace, defense, engineering, manufacturing, or another highly regulated environment.
- Experience with ERP, document-management, or enterprise business systems.
- Familiarity with aerospace quality, safety, or compliance documentation.
- Experience coordinating travel, purchasing, invoices, vendors, or expense reports.
- Strong spreadsheet skills and experience working with controlled or sensitive company documentation.
