We are seeking an Adhesives Blender Technician for an opportunity in Riviera Beach, FL. This role is ideal for a dependable production professional with hands-on manufacturing experience, strong attention to detail, and an interest in working with chemical raw materials and adhesive blending processes.
As an Adhesives Blender Technician, you will support production by batching materials, operating automated and manual blending systems, maintaining accurate production records, and helping keep operations running safely and efficiently. This opportunity offers a stable weekday schedule, a team-oriented production environment, and the potential to grow into a long-term role with continued training and support.
Key Responsibilities
- Batch adhesive products using automated and manual systems to supply production lines.
- Receive, handle, and move chemical raw materials according to safety and operating procedures.
- Operate production equipment, perform changeovers, and rotate through assigned work areas as needed.
- Troubleshoot basic equipment issues and make minor adjustments to maintain production flow.
- Maintain accurate daily production records for tracking and performance analysis.
- Follow Good Manufacturing Practices, Standard Operating Procedures, 5S practices, and continuous improvement activities.
Compensation and Benefits
- Pay: $19.50 per hour.
- Schedule: Monday through Thursday, 6:00am to 4:30pm, with a 30-minute lunch.
- Hours: 40 hours per week.
- Location: Riviera Beach, FL.
- Batch adhesive products and supply production lines using automated and manual systems.
- Operate, change over, and make minor adjustments to production equipment.
- Handle chemical raw materials safely and accurately.
- Maintain production records and support 5S and continuous improvement activities.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- 1 to 2 years of manufacturing, production, blending, batching, or related hands-on experience preferred.
- Basic math skills, including the ability to calculate quantities, fractions, and measurements.
- Strong attention to detail when measuring, recording, and handling ingredients.
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions accurately.
- Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and potentially lift heavy materials.
- Strong safety awareness and ability to follow workplace safety regulations and procedures.
- Good communication skills and ability to work effectively with production team members.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in a chemical, adhesive, petrochemical, batching, blending, or production environment.
- Familiarity with Good Manufacturing Practices, Standard Operating Procedures, and 5S practices.
- Experience operating automated production, mixing, or batching equipment.
