As a activities coordinator for this family-oriented Healthcare Services company, the Activities Coordinator is responsible for planning, coordinating, and facilitating age-appropriate activities and programs for children and families. This role works closely with families, staff, and community partners to ensure programming is engaging, supportive, and aligned with the organization’s mission.

Key Responsibilities:
Plan, coordinate, and lead recreational, educational, and enrichment activities for children and families
Create inclusive, developmentally appropriate programming that supports social, emotional, and educational growth
Engage directly with families to build trust, encourage participation, and foster a welcoming environment
Coordinate schedules, supplies, and materials for activities and events
Maintain a safe, structured, warm, and positive environment during all programs
Collaborate with internal teams and community partners to enhance programming
Track participation and provide program feedback and reports as needed

Qualifications:
Minimum of 2 years of experience working with children and families in a nonprofit, educational, or community-based setting
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Ability to plan and lead group activities for diverse age groups
Knowledge of child development and family engagement best practices
Highly organized, dependable, and adaptable in a fast-paced environment
Must possess a CPR/First Aid certification or have willingness to obtain
Ability to pass background and child safety screenings
Work Environment & Schedule
May include evenings or weekends based on program needs
Combination of on-site program delivery and administrative coordination
