Position Title: Trust Fund Accountant – Accounts Receivable (Bilingual Spanish)

Position Summary:
Responsible for the administration of specific Trust Fund accounting duties, including employer interaction, payment processing, discrepancy reconciliation, and month-end closing. This role requires strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills to manage accurate accounting records for employers, members, and dependents.
Essential Responsibilities:
- Maintain accounting records for employers, members, and dependents for assigned Trust Funds.
- Record and reconcile daily payment receipts accurately.
- Track pending, retroactive, and advance payments on a daily basis.
- Respond to employer inquiries promptly and professionally.
- Perform month-end close processes for assigned Trust Funds.
- Process provider payments via wire transfer efficiently.
- Handle remote deposits using the banking system.
- Generate monthly invoices and notify employers through auto-generated emails.
- Reconcile discrepancy reports for assigned Trust Funds and provide detailed comments to providers.
Requirements:
- Associate’s Degree (AS/AA) in Accounting or related field.
- 2 to 4 years of Accounts Receivable experience.
- Bilingual in Spanish is required.
- Strong mathematical skills for accurate benefit calculations.
- Excellent problem-solving and judgment skills with a high level of attention to detail and accuracy.
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel (Intermediate level), and Outlook.
- Outstanding analytical and organizational abilities with the capacity to prioritize work and meet deadlines.
- High level of professionalism, confidentiality, and integrity.
- Positive, motivated self-starter and team player.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure to meet tight monthly and annual deadlines.
