We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Accounts Receivable Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing customer accounts, ensuring timely and accurate processing of payments, and maintaining up-to-date records. A key part of the role also involves investigating and resolving payment discrepancies in collaboration with internal teams and external customers.
As part of your day-to-day responsibilities, you will research and reconcile short payments, follow up with customers regarding outstanding balances, and analyze account activity to ensure proper application of credits and debits. You’ll review invoices, remittance information, and purchase orders, and work closely with sales, operations, and finance teams to resolve issues and support the overall accuracy of accounts. Strong communication skills are essential, as you'll also be contacting customers to clarify deduction claims, request supporting documentation, and resolve disputes where necessary.
The ideal candidate has a background in accounts receivable, excellent attention to detail, strong analytical skills, and experience working with large accounts. Proficiency in Excel and familiarity with accounting systems such as Oracle or other ERP platforms is a plus.
