Job Summary

We are seeking an Accounts Receivable professional with strong credit memo experience for a contract opportunity in Irvine, CA. This role is ideal for candidates with a background in sales operations, customer service, claims processing, order processing, accounting support, or accounts receivable who are comfortable creating, reviewing, and applying credit memos accurately.

This position offers the opportunity to work in a professional financial services environment with a collaborative team and a hybrid schedule. The right candidate will bring strong attention to detail, comfort working with purchase orders, and the ability to partner across departments to ensure credit memo activity is processed correctly and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

- Create, review, and apply credit memos accurately within established processes.
- Verify credit memo details against purchase orders, customer records, and supporting documentation.
- Support sales operations-related credit memo workflows, including issue research and resolution.
- Partner with internal teams such as customer service, claims, order processing, accounting, and sales operations.
- Maintain accurate records and follow up on discrepancies, missing information, or approval requirements.
- Assist with workload fluctuations while ensuring deadlines and accuracy standards are met.

Compensation and Benefits

- Pay range: $25 to $30 per hour.
- Job type: Contract/Temporary.
- Schedule: Monday through Friday.
- Hours: 30 to 40 hours per week, depending on workload.
- Work arrangement: Hybrid, with Tuesday through Thursday in the office.
- Location: Irvine, CA.



Required Qualifications and Skills

- Process and apply credit memos within accounts receivable or sales operations workflows.
- Verify credit memos against purchase orders and related documentation.
- Research discrepancies and coordinate with internal teams to resolve credit memo issues.
- Support accurate transaction processing in a detail-oriented financial services environment.

- 3 to 5 years of relevant experience in accounts receivable, credit memos, sales operations, customer service, claims, order processing, or accounting support.
- Heavy credit memo experience, including the ability to make, apply, and verify credit memos.
- Experience reviewing purchase orders and matching supporting documentation.
- Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and follow-through.
- Ability to learn sales operations processes if coming from an accounting clerk or accounting coordinator background.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively across departments.
- Comfortable working in a hybrid schedule in Irvine, CA.

Preferred Qualifications

- Experience in a customer service, claims, order processor, accounting clerk, accounting coordinator, or accounts receivable role involving high-volume credit memo processing.
- Prior exposure to sales operations credit memo workflows.
- Financial services industry experience.
