About the Role
We are looking for an organized and dependable Accounts Receivable Clerk to support our accounting team in a busy manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate will have experience processing invoices, managing billing through customer portals, and working within an ERP system. This position plays a key role in maintaining accurate financial records and ensuring timely customer payments.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare and submit invoices through customer and distributor portals.
Record, post, and apply customer payments in the ERP system accurately.
Maintain up-to-date customer account information and reconcile open balances.
Monitor aging reports and follow up with customers regarding outstanding invoices.
Collaborate with sales, production, and shipping departments to ensure accurate billing.
Research and resolve payment discrepancies, short-pays, and credit memos.
Assist with month-end AR reporting and reconciliation.
Support process improvements to enhance billing accuracy and collection efficiency.
Qualifications
2+ years of experience in Accounts Receivable or general accounting support; manufacturing or distribution experience preferred.
Familiarity with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics 365, Sage, or similar).
Experience with customer billing portals and electronic invoicing.
Basic understanding of accounting principles and AR processes.
Proficient in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables a plus).
Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and follow-up skills.
Excellent communication and customer service abilities.
