About the Role
Our Accounting Department is seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Accounts Receivable / Collections Clerk to join our team. This role is ideal for a professional with strong AR and collections experience who thrives in a structured, fast-paced, and professional office environment.
Key Responsibilities
Manage accounts receivable processes and soft collections activities
Respond to client inquiries primarily via email (approximately 90%) with limited phone communication (approximately 10%)
Send invoices, payment reminders, and follow-up correspondence
Track payments and maintain accurate account records
Maintain organized electronic filing systems
Utilize Microsoft Outlook and Excel for communication and account management
Perform data extraction and document handling in Oracle (training provided)
Assist with general administrative duties within the accounting department
Communicate clearly, professionally, and effectively in writing
Qualifications
Minimum of 3 years of experience in accounts receivable and/or collections
High school diploma or equivalent required
Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook and Excel
Comfortable with both written and verbal client communication
