A local client is looking to hire detail-oriented and proactive A/R & Collections Specialist to join our accounting team. This role is responsible for managing accounts receivable and collections processes, ensuring timely follow-up and resolution of outstanding invoices. The ideal candidate will be organized, professional, and capable of handling a high volume of customer interactions while maintaining accuracy and compliance with company policies.

Key Responsibilities:
-Contact customers within 30 days of invoicing to request payment and provide necessary documentation.
-Utilize Outlook for timely follow-ups and maintain communication logs.
-Adhere to the “3 call, 3 letter” policy for delinquent accounts.
-Investigate and resolve customer issues by reviewing contracts and documentation.
-Prepare billing adjustments with supporting documentation for management approval.
-Handle incoming and outgoing billing calls, meeting daily minimum call requirements.
-Document all customer interactions and resolutions in the DICE accounting system.
-Compile and submit collection packages for unresolved accounts to the Controller.
-Process consolidation requests for multi-location billing.
-Collaborate with Sales and Service departments to resolve payment delays.
-Issue W-9 forms, Certificates of Installation, and billing numbers as needed.
-Process credit card and EFT payments.
-Conduct welcome calls for new customers.
-Perform other duties as assigned.


Qualifications:
-Prior experience in accounts receivable and collections preferred.
-Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
-Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook and accounting systems .
-Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
