About the Role
Are you detail-oriented, organized, and thrive in a busy, fast-paced environment? We’re looking for an Accounts Receivable Clerk to join our finance team. This role is essential in managing billing and collections while maintaining strong relationships with customers. If you have solid billing experience, a knack for collections, and advanced Excel skills, this could be the perfect fit for you. Experience with EDI is a strong plus!

What You’ll Do
Generate and process accurate customer invoices and billing statements

Manage daily accounts receivable activities including collections and payment application

Communicate professionally with customers regarding outstanding balances and resolve billing discrepancies

Monitor customer accounts and follow up promptly on overdue payments

Maintain detailed records and reconcile accounts as needed

Utilize advanced Excel functions to track, analyze, and report on receivables data

Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth transaction flow

Support Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) processes and troubleshoot related issues (preferred)

What We’re Looking For
Proven experience in accounts receivable, billing, and collections

Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel—pivot tables, VLOOKUP, formulas, and data analysis

Experience with EDI is highly desirable but not mandatory

Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities

Prior experience in a busy finance or accounting department preferred
