We are seeking an Accounts Receivable / Billing Specialist for a well-established organization in Bakersfield and surrounding areas. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who values accuracy, consistency, and stability in a structured environment.
Process a high volume of field tickets to support payroll and billing cycles
Apply customer-specific billing guidelines (rates, coding, documentation)
Review and audit billing data for compliance and accuracy
Generate invoices, maintain batch controls, and submit electronic billing
Research and resolve rejected or failed billing transmissions
Communicate with internal teams and customers to resolve discrepancies
Maintain organized billing records per client requirements
Collaborate on process improvements for long-term accuracy
Tools & Systems Experience Requirements
QuickBooks (Desktop or Online)
SAP / SAP Concur
Oracle / NetSuite
Microsoft Dynamics (GP, NAV, Business Central)
ADP or Paychex
EDI billing portals
Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP)
Requirements
3+ years of hands-on experience in AR, Billing, Credit, or Collections
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field (or equivalent experience)
Proven ability to meet deadlines in a high-volume environment
Comfortable navigating multiple billing systems
Reliable, detail-oriented, and consistent work history
