Accounts Receivable Analyst (B2B | Credit & Collections)
Pay: $25/hour
Type: Long-term contract (strong potential for conversion)
Location: Remote (Kansas City metro required)
Schedule: Monday–Friday, standard business hours
Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Accounts Receivable Analyst with a strong background in B2B credit and collections. This is an analytical, process-driven role focused on account reconciliation, dispute resolution, and aging management. This is not a call-center or customer service position. The ideal candidate is comfortable managing a high-volume portfolio, working primarily through email, and navigating ERP systems and Excel to resolve complex payment issues.
Key Responsibilities
• Manage a portfolio of 600–800 B2B customer accounts across multiple business units
• Work all aging buckets from current through collections
• Complete 45+ client touches daily, primarily via email
• Investigate payment discrepancies, billing issues, and unapplied cash
• Reconcile accounts using ERP systems and Excel exports
• Partner with internal teams including billing, cash applications, and support
• Follow structured documentation and credit hold processes
• Respond to high-volume statement inquiries at month start
Required Qualifications
• 3–5+ years of B2B accounts receivable, credit, or collections experience
• Proven success managing high-volume portfolios
• Strong reconciliation and dispute resolution experience
• Intermediate Excel skills (VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, formulas, multi-sheet reports; pivots a plus)
• ERP experience (Great Plains, SAP, Oracle, JDE, or similar)
• Strong written communication skills with a professional email presence
• Highly organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable with structured processes
