Accounts Receivable / Accounts Payable Specialist
Location: Johnstown, CO
Pay: $22–$28/hr (DOE)
We are seeking a detail-oriented AR/AP Specialist to join our growing team in Johnstown, Colorado. This role is ideal for an accounting professional with strong experience in construction, transportation, or oil & gas industries who thrives in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
Manage full-cycle Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable
Process invoices, payments, and vendor reconciliations
Perform monthly reporting and support month-end close
Maintain and reconcile the general ledger
Assist with account analysis and financial record accuracy
Communicate with vendors, customers, and internal teams regarding billing and payment issues
Ensure compliance with company policies and accounting standards
Required Qualifications
Minimum 3 years of accounting experience in ONE of the following industries is REQUIRED:
Construction
Transportation / Logistics
Oil & Gas
Strong experience with AR, AP, monthly reporting, and GL reconciliation
Proficiency with accounting software and Excel
High attention to detail and strong organizational skills
Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
Important Requirement
This position is NOT in the medical industry.
Candidates with medical billing or healthcare-only accounting experience will not be considered.
