We are seeking an Accounts Receivable Clerk for a direct hire opportunity in La Verne, CA with a consumer packaged goods manufacturing organization. This Accounts Receivable role is ideal for a detail-oriented accounting professional with 1 to 2 years of AR experience who enjoys customer account support, payment processing, reconciliation, collections follow-up, and reporting.

Key Responsibilities
- Process and apply incoming customer payments accurately and in a timely manner.
- Monitor customer accounts, review aging reports, and follow up on past-due balances.
- Communicate with customers regarding billing questions, payment discrepancies, invoices, and payment status.
- Research, reconcile, and resolve account discrepancies while maintaining accurate AR records.
- Maintain and monitor the Accounts Receivable ledger to support timely and accurate reporting.
- Prepare sales rebate and commission reports and assist with AR activity for major retail customer accounts.
Compensation and Benefits
- Salary range: $43,680 to $47,840 per year.
- Job type: Direct hire.
- Location: La Verne, CA.
- Process customer payments and maintain accurate accounts receivable records.
- Monitor customer accounts and support collections follow-up on past-due balances.
- Research and reconcile billing, payment, and account discrepancies.
- Prepare accounts receivable reporting, including sales rebate and commission reports.
- Minimum of 1 to 2 years of Accounts Receivable experience.
- Basic to intermediate Microsoft Excel skills.
- Ability to maintain accurate customer, invoice, and payment records.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to organize multiple account priorities.
- Good written and verbal communication skills for customer and internal follow-up.
- Ability to research issues, resolve discrepancies, and follow established credit and payment policies.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous Accounts Receivable experience supporting large retail accounts.
- Experience working with major national retail or big-box customer accounts.
- Background in consumer packaged goods, manufacturing, distribution, or a related high-volume billing environment.
