We are seeking an Accounts Receivable professional for a direct hire opportunity in La Verne, CA. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented accounting professional with 1 to 2 years of AR experience who enjoys customer payments, account reconciliation, billing follow-up, and receivables analysis.

Key Responsibilities
- Process incoming customer payments accurately and in a timely manner.
- Monitor overdue accounts and follow up with customers regarding outstanding balances and billing concerns.
- Reconcile account discrepancies and maintain accurate accounts receivable records.
- Maintain, monitor, and analyze the accounts receivable ledger to support reporting and collections activity.
- Prepare sales rebate and commission reports as required.
- Communicate professionally with customers and internal teams to resolve payment, credit, and billing issues.
Compensation and Benefits
- Pay range: $21 to $24 per hour.
- Job type: Direct hire.
- Location: La Verne, CA.
- Process customer payments and support daily accounts receivable activity.
- Monitor aging reports, overdue accounts, and customer payment status.
- Reconcile AR discrepancies and maintain an accurate receivables ledger.
- Prepare sales rebate and commission reporting.
- 1 to 2 years of accounts receivable, accounting, or related finance experience.
- Experience processing customer payments, reconciling accounts, and resolving billing issues.
- Ability to monitor credit policy adherence and communicate with customers regarding account status.
- Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and organizational skills.
- Proficiency with accounting systems, spreadsheets, and general office software.
- Professional communication skills and the ability to work effectively with customers and internal teams.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous accounts receivable experience supporting large retail accounts.
- Experience working with high-volume customer accounts, deductions, rebates, or commissions.
- Strong Excel skills for tracking, reporting, and account analysis.
