Accounts Payable Specialist

📅 Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM–4:00 PM or 8:00 AM–5:00 PM

📋 Job Type: Temp-to-Hire

Exciting opportunity for an experienced Accounts Payable professional to take ownership of full-cycle AP operations for an established equipment company! This role is ideal for someone with strong high-volume AP experience who can work independently and confidently manage daily operations, month-end closing, and vendor accounts while supporting multiple states.


Required Qualifications:
MUST HAVE Minimum 4 years of high-volume Accounts Payable experience.
MUST HAVE QuickBooks experience
MUST HAVE Three-way matching and month-end closing experience required.
Must be comfortable working independently and taking full ownership of AP operations. 

Responsibilities:
Set up and maintain new vendor accounts.


Process invoices and post transactions to the General Ledger (GL).


Prepare and post journal entries.

Perform three-way matching.


Manage high-volume Accounts Payable transactions.


Oversee month-end closing for all Accounts Payable.


Maintain vendor records and resolve invoice discrepancies.


Manage California AP operations and provide support to other states as needed.


Ensure accurate and timely invoice processing and payments.



Ideal Candidate

A self-sufficient AP professional with strong QuickBooks knowledge and the ability to independently oversee high-volume, full-cycle Accounts Payable operations.
