Accounts Payable Specialist (Temporary, In-Office)

A growing real estate and property management organization is seeking a detail-oriented Accounts Payable Specialist to support its finance team. This is a temporary, fully in-office opportunity with the potential for extension based on business needs.
This role is primarily focused on accounts payable, with the opportunity to assist in broader bookkeeping functions depending on experience. The organization manages a diverse portfolio of properties, and the ideal candidate will be highly accurate, dependable, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:
• Manage full-cycle accounts payable including invoice processing, coding, approvals, and vendor communication
• Process payment runs and ensure timely and accurate disbursements
• Perform account and bank reconciliations as needed
• Assist with general ledger maintenance and journal entries
• Support tenant ledgers, receivables, and other bookkeeping functions as needed
• Contribute to month-end close activities
• Maintain organized and accurate financial records
• Assist with reporting and special projects as needed

Qualifications:
• 3–5+ years of accounts payable or bookkeeping experience
• Strong experience with full-cycle accounts payable required
• Experience with property management accounting software required; experience with Yardi preferred
• Experience in real estate or property management accounting is a plus
• High level of accuracy and attention to detail
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
• Strong communication skills
