Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and dependable Accounts Payable Specialist to join our accounting team. The ideal candidate will have strong A/P experience, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to learn quickly in a fast-paced environment. This position will primarily focus on accounts payable functions while also supporting other accounting duties as needed.
Key Responsibilities:
Process accounts payable including invoice coding and data entry
Review invoices for accuracy and proper documentation
Maintain A/P records, files, and vendor documentation
Assist with A/P research and resolving discrepancies
Support bank reconciliations
Maintain asset schedules and assist with asset entries
Manage and track insurance certificates
Assist with DMV documentation requirements
Create and maintain Excel spreadsheets for vendor tracking
Provide general support to the accounting department
Qualifications:
Previous Accounts Payable experience preferred
Basic accounting knowledge or accounting coursework is a plus
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and general computer skills
Ability to prioritize tasks and work independently
Strong reliability and professional work ethic
Schedule:
Full-Time
Monday – Friday
40 hours per week
Compensation & Benefits:
10 PTO days per year
6 sick days per year
