We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Accounts Payable professional to join our growing accounting team. The Accounts Payable Specialist will be responsible for managing the full cycle of accounts payable, ensuring accurate and timely processing of vendor invoices and payments. This role requires strong attention to detail and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple deadlines. The ideal candidate will review, code, and enter vendor invoices into the accounting system while ensuring proper documentation and approvals are obtained. Responsibilities include reconciling vendor statements, resolving invoice discrepancies, and maintaining accurate financial records. The Accounts Payable Specialist will prepare weekly check runs, ACH payments, and wire transfers as needed. This position will also communicate regularly with vendors and internal departments to resolve payment or billing issues. The candidate will assist with month-end closing tasks, including account reconciliations and reporting. Maintaining organized electronic and physical filing systems for all accounts payable documentation is essential. The role may support audits by providing requested financial documentation and payment records. Candidates should have strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel and accounting software or ERP systems. Prior experience in accounts payable, bookkeeping, or accounting support is preferred. Strong organizational skills, accuracy, and confidentiality are critical for success in this position. The ability to collaborate with accounting staff and other departments is required. This position offers an opportunity to grow within a dynamic finance team while contributing to efficient financial operations.

$22 – $30 per hour - depending on experience
