OA Reference: Accounts Payable Specialist
We are seeking a detail-oriented Accounts Payable Specialist to join the finance team of a leading pharmaceutical company. This role is responsible for processing supplier invoices, managing payments, and ensuring compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
WORK SCHEDULE: Monday - Friday 8 am - 5 pm. 40 hours per week.
SALARY: $18 p/h
ACTIVITIES:
- Process vendor invoices for materials, services, and utilities using a three-way matching process (PO, receipt, and invoice).
- Execute timely payments via electronic transfer and checks.
- Review and process employee expense reports in compliance with company policies.
- Manage monthly service tax withholdings and complete required filings using the SURI system.
- Prepare monthly journal entries, including accruals and pending invoices.
- Generate and review monthly A/P Aging reports.
- Coordinate merchandise release and returns as needed.
- Ensure compliance with internal policies, procedures, and required trainings (including GMP and regulatory guidelines, if applicable).
- Support additional accounting and finance tasks as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Completed Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Business Administration.
- 2 years of experience in Accounts Payable/Receivable.
- Excellent written and communication skills in English and Spanish.
- Proficient in using electronic spreadsheets (SAP, MS Office, or similar).
- Analytical Business Oriented.
