We are seeking an organized and detail-oriented Accounts Payable Specialist to join our busy accounting team. This is a hands-on role responsible for processing invoices, maintaining vendor records, and ensuring timely and accurate payments. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment and is comfortable managing a high volume of transactions while maintaining accuracy.
Key Responsibilities
Process up to 90 invoices per day during peak periods
Review, code, and enter invoices into the accounting system
Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies
Prepare and process payments in a timely manner
Assist with month-end close and related reporting as needed
Maintain accurate vendor records and filing systems
Support other accounting team members as required
Qualifications & Skills
Prior experience in accounts payable in a high-volume environment
Proficient in Excel for data entry and basic reporting (advanced skills not required)
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced setting
Excellent organizational and communication skills
Experience with accounting software preferred but not required
