Our client, a well-established company in the commercial engineering industry, is seeking a highly organized Accounts Payable Specialist to support their growing finance team. This role is ideal for someone who is detail-driven, proactive, and comfortable managing a variety of accounting tasks in a fast-paced environment. They are located in the 33609 zip code.
Key Responsibilities:
Process accounts payable invoices with accuracy and timeliness
Handle credit card reconciliations and ensure proper documentation
Review and track vendor insurance requirements, maintaining updated compliance records
Assist with general accounting requests, reporting, and administrative tasks
Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure smooth financial operations
Qualifications:
3+ years of accounts payable or general accounting experience
Experience with credit card reconciliation and vendor management preferred
Construction or engineering industry experience is a plus, but not required
Strong attention to detail, organization, and follow-through
Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
