Our client is seeking an organized and detail-oriented Accounts Payable Specialist to join their growing accounting team. This role is essential in maintaining accurate financial records and managing vendor relationships. Experience with QuickBooks Online is required. A degree in Accounting or Finance is a plus, but not required.

Key Responsibilities:
Manage all aspects of Accounts Payable, including invoice entry, 3-way matching, and timely payments
Reconcile expenses, sales tax, and fixed assets (PP&E)
Handle monthly and quarterly closings and support vendor 1099 processing
Audit and sync time tracking data in QuickBooks Time (formerly TSheets)
Set up and maintain automated recurring payments
Assist with payroll, AR billing, and bank deposits as needed
Coordinate Certificates of Insurance and audit insurance-related expenses
Train staff on QuickBooks Time usage

Qualifications:
2–3 years of experience in Accounts Payable or general accounting
Proficiency in QuickBooks Online is required
Strong Excel and Microsoft Office skills
Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving abilities
Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance is preferred but not required
