Summary:
The Accounts Payable Specialist is responsible for processing and managing vendor invoices and payments while ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and proper documentation. This role supports day-to-day accounting functions and provides general administrative support to the department.
Key Responsibilities:
• Process, verify, and reconcile vendor invoices and statements.
• Review coding, classification, and accuracy of supplier invoices.
• Prepare and issue checks and handle expense accrual postings.
• Perform reconciliations of accounts payable and vendor statements.
• Maintain organized records and manage document filing.
• Receive and route incoming correspondence and phone calls.
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting completed.
• Preferred: 1 year of experience in accounts payable or related role.
• Intermediate English proficiency.
• Basic to intermediate Excel skills preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Availability Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM.
