Key Responsibilities
Provide leadership support by managing workload distribution across AP Specialists, Analysts, and Contractors.
Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
Analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) and reports to monitor and improve team performance.
Ensure compliance with SOX and internal controls through workflow audits and vendor statement reviews.
Oversee payment runs, including review, approval, and quality assurance.
Manage journal entries and reconciliations during month-end close.
Develop and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs) and training documentation.
Resolve complex and high-visibility AP issues with a solution-oriented approach.
What You Bring
5–8 years of progressive Accounts Payable experience, including 3–5 years in a leadership or supervisory role.
Strong knowledge of GAAP, SOX compliance, and end-to-end AP processes.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills across all organizational levels.
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
Highly organized, detail-oriented, and proactive in identifying and implementing improvements.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience managing expense reimbursement and corporate card programs.
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
Background in aviation, banking integration, or project management.
Familiarity with PeopleSoft, Tableau, and KPI reporting tools.
