This is not a traditional Accounts Payable role. We’re looking for a highly analytical AP professional who enjoys working with data, solving complex problems, and improving processes. This role is focused on reporting, reconciliation, and project-based work—not invoice processing.
If you’re someone who lives in Excel, enjoys connecting data points, and can turn messy data into clear insights, this is a strong opportunity to make an impact during a major organizational transition following a recent merger.
What You’ll Be Doing
Own and reconcile GR/IR accounts, identifying and resolving discrepancies across systems
Analyze large datasets to uncover trends, gaps, and process inefficiencies
Build and maintain Excel-based reports and dashboards for leadership
Support month-end close with data analysis and reconciliations
Partner cross-functionally with Procurement, Supply Chain, and Finance
Contribute to process improvements, automation initiatives, and system enhancements
Assist with ERP-related projects, reporting improvements, and data cleanup
What We’re Looking For
3+ years in Accounts Payable, Accounting, or Data/Financial Analysis
Strong understanding of AP processes (GR/IR, 3-way match, accruals)
Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, lookups, data manipulation; Power Query a plus)
Experience working with ERP systems (SAP preferred)
Ability to analyze complex data and present insights clearly
Comfortable handling ad hoc reporting and working in a fast-evolving environment
Why This Role
Fully remote with long-term stability (3 year contract)
High-impact role supporting a post-merger transformation
Exposure to cross-functional teams and process improvement initiatives
Ideal for someone who wants to move beyond transactional AP into analytics
Equal Opportunity Employer / Disabled / Protected Veterans
