Accounts Payable Coordinator

Overview
A reputable corporate organization in Broward County is seeking a highly organized Accounts Payable Coordinator to support the day-to-day coordination of AP operations. This role ensures timely invoice routing, vendor communication, system accuracy, and compliance across the AP workflow. The ideal candidate brings strong Excel skills, excellent communication, and a reliable, steady work history.

Key Responsibilities
• Coordinate AP workflow, including routing invoices for approvals
• Maintain AP inbox and ensure timely processing of inquiries
• Review invoices for accuracy, coding, and compliance with company guidelines
• Assist with vendor onboarding, including collecting W-9s and setting up new accounts
• Support month-end close including basic accruals, reporting, and reconciliations
• Monitor AP aging reports and follow up on outstanding items
• Assist with expense report review and policy compliance
• Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies
• Support AP documentation management and audit preparation
• Collaborate with internal departments to maintain smooth AP operations

Qualifications
• 3–7 years of accounts payable experience, preferably in a corporate or multi-entity environment
• Advanced Excel skills (VLOOKUP, pivot tables, formulas)
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Excellent communication skills for vendor and internal stakeholder interactions
• Ability to manage deadlines in a fast-paced environment
• Stable work history (no job hoppers)
• Accounting coursework or degree preferred; CPA is a plus but not required
• Must be able to work onsite in Broward County
