Temporary to Permanent role
Pay: $19-$20.50/hour (based on experience)
Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8am to 4:30pm
Location: 100% onsite -Orlando, FL 32826 (near UCF)
Job Summary:
The Accounts Payable Clerk is a crucial position within the Accounting Department, tasked with performing various to maintain accurate and efficient financial records.
This role includes daily filing and scanning of documents and assisting the finance department with projects like quarterly and year-end audits.
Strong multitasking and effective communication skills, both verbal and written, are essential for success in the role.
The Accounts Payable Clerk is integral to the smooth functioning of the accounting department and the organization's overall financial well-being.
Duties & Responsibilities
• Verifying the accuracy of invoices and other accounting documents and records. (3-way match)
• Update and maintain accounting journals, ledgers, and other records detailing financial business transactions. (e.g., Disbursements, expense vouchers, receipts, accounts payable and receivables.) Enters data to computer system using defined computer programs.
• Compile filing/scanning of accounting documents.
• Support finance department with projects to include quarterly and year end audits.
Preferred skills and/or education:
• Undergraduate degree in Accounting or Finance is preferred, not required.
• Prior accounting experience of 1+ years.
• Manufacturing industry experience is highly preferred.
• Experience with accounting software such as Expandable or Salesforce.
• Proficient in MS office suite including Word, Excel & Outlook.
