Accounts Payable Clerk

Primary responsibilities include processing product inventory invoices, reconciling monthly statements, and ensuring accuracy and payments are made timely. Perform analyses that may require the use of independent judgment, a thorough knowledge of the Accounts Payable Principles.

Responsibilities:
• Perform all aspects of Accounts Payable function (Full Cycle) by compiling and maintaining
assigned product vendor invoices and payments for high volume vendors.
• Review, enter, and process ACH, Electronic Check Upload, and Electronic Credit Card
payments for assigned product vendors invoices.
• Review all statements and after review, talk with vendors & escalate to Management (2
weeks prior to Invoice due date).
• Responsible for maintaining & keeping supporting payment documents organized in file.
• Primary contact for various vendors, including vendor claim requests, invoice
discrepancies, and detail payment submissions.
• Responsible for approved and authorized credit memos with supporting documentation for
vendor claims through VCR module, and requesting copies from vendors as needed.
• Ensure weekly payments for Product Vendors are batched weekly by vendor terms.
• Responsible for using internal software, Conexiom, to verify and confirm that all red alerts
have been addressed.
• Document, organize, and maintain Standard Operating Procedures for AP Product
Inventory.

Knowledge, Skill and Experience Required:
• Minimum of 3 Years of experience in Accounts Payable
• Data Entry_
• Detail Oriented
• Ability to complete tasks accurately with minimal supervision, promptly.
• Ability to multitask to completion.
• Proficient in Excel.
• Communicate professionally with both internal and external vendors.
• Effective time management skills

The position is full time Monday – Friday, 8:00am – 5:00 pm.
