Accounts Payable Analyst (Reporting & Projects)

We’re looking for a highly analytical Accounts Payable Data Analyst with advanced Excel skills to support a large AP function in a long-term project role. This is not a traditional invoice-processing position—it's ideal for someone who enjoys digging into data, solving complex issues, and improving financial processes.

What You’ll Do

Data Analysis & Reporting

Analyze large AP datasets using advanced Excel (Power Query, pivot tables, complex formulas)
Build dashboards and automated reports to support decision-making
Identify trends, risks, and process inefficiencies

GR/IR Reconciliation

Own and reconcile GR/IR accounts
Investigate discrepancies across POs, receipts, and invoices
Partner with Procurement, Receiving, and Finance to resolve issues

Projects & Process Improvement

Support AP transformation initiatives (automation, system improvements)
Assist with ERP upgrades, testing (UAT), and tool implementation
Document processes and recommend improvements

Collaboration

Act as a go-to resource for AP data and reporting
Work cross-functionally with Finance, Supply Chain, and Procurement
Support audits with data analysis and reconciliations

What We’re Looking For

3+ years in AP, Accounting, or Financial/Data Analysis
Strong understanding of AP processes (GR/IR, 3-way match, accruals)
Advanced Excel skills (this will be assessed)
Experience with ERP systems (SAP preferred)
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
