Position: Accounts Payable / Accounts Receivable Clerk
Location: Santa Barbara – Goleta, CA
Schedule: Monday to Friday (Full-time, On-site)
Pay: $25 – $33/hour (DOE)
We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Accounts Payable / Accounts Receivable Clerk to join our team in the Goleta area. This is an excellent opportunity for an accounting professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys working with both numbers and people. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills, a proactive mindset, and the ability to manage multiple tasks while maintaining accuracy and professionalism.
Responsibilities:
Process vendor invoices and employee reimbursements in a timely and accurate manner
Review and reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies
Manage accounts receivable, generate invoices, and follow up on outstanding payments
Maintain accurate records of financial transactions
Assist with month-end close and general ledger reconciliations
Communicate with vendors, clients, and internal departments regarding billing and payment issues
Support other accounting functions as needed
Must-Haves:
2+ years of experience in an AP/AR or general accounting role
Strong knowledge of basic accounting principles
Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks, NetSuite, or similar platforms)
High level of accuracy and attention to detail
Strong organizational and time management skills
Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other Office Suite applications
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
High degree of professionalism and confidentiality
